Books
I'm a huge fan of books. I blow them all over the place.
Books I want:
Ender's Game (I've read it a few times but don't own it)
Wheel of Time: book 6
Choke
Sideways
Some of Hemmingway's stuff
Quicksilver
The Oath
1984
In my neverending attempt to not mug myself.

I've got to start getting to bed earlier.
Some combination of ice and automobile managed to take out a group of five mailboxes this morning. One of them was mine. It was actually a bit comical. But still. It was a hit and run.
I didn't call this girl this weekend, a girl that I said I was going to call. We were going to go snowboarding. It's not that I didn't want to... It probably wasn't the best idea to not call because now I've f'ed it all up. She's a babe too. I'm so horribe in my womenfolk interaction.
Onward and Upward.
A job and a car are close at hand.
Academy awards eh. I didn't see Aviator but I don't think it was that good despite my lacking viewing. Meh. I stopped watching after a little while.
I find comfort in a lack of social interaction over the weekends. People are cool, but we deal with them all the time throughout the week. So about every other weekend, I just take to myself.
I'm not going to church today. I probably should. But the clothes I have with me aren't good enough. That's something to think about eh.
Fundamentalism in religion sometimes just makes me wonder. (a bit of a jump there) We read a middle eastern poem in my AP English class called Fundamentalism. In my AP US Government class we talk a lot about fundamentalism and religion. I've seemed to land on the conclusion that it is bad in general due to the manifestations and current events associated with it, but is fundamentalism really always a bad thing?
In the movie Constantine the angel Gabriel says to John Constatine after inquiring about him beleiveing, "You don't beleive in God you just know." In the movie that is a bad thing. I feel that way. That I know. Is it a bad thing in life?
Have a wonderful sabbath,
Matt
To whom it may concern:
Hello, and welcome to my new home. Hopefully the extent of my hospitality will keep you coming back.
Thought Interjection:
The proportions of the "blogpsphere," even just the affiliates of blogspot/blogger leave me feeling a bit
insignificant
So I figure that this will be more personal, for me, until someone gives me some attention. I'm always interested in a friendly conversation. You can always email me at brixor@gmail.com.
I think the rest of my current internet session will consist of getting a profile picture for this thing and then rebuilding my portal site.
